Zenfira Gurbanova, was born in the region of Azerbaijan, Garabagh. Grew up in the family of agronomist. She has started to both art and fashion in very early ages. In 1988, Zenfira entered the Art school, the department of decorator. During this time, she was studying a special field of art, known as portrait genre at a school of Kiselyev Aleksandr, got personal lessons form him. She entered the Art Academy in 1990, later in 1996, transfered to fashion department at all. While working at other collections hard she also created her“Chekanka” collection . In 2002 Zenfira participated in International Fashion festival. The collection was greetted succesfully. All her work achievied a success. The same year, “Chekanka” collection won the first place in the contest hold in Azerbaijan. In 2003, “Black stars” fashion house was established in Baku. In 2004-2005, was an artist-designer of “Yoosif and Zuleyxa” and “ Anton and Cleopatra” plays staged in Academic National Dramatic theatre. In 2005, was an assistant in Best Model contest. Also was a sponsor of professional clothing school “Fashion Model school” opened in 2006, in Azerbaijan. In 2008, prepared special clothes for Best Model contest. She became an author of tens of collections : “Chekanka”, “Mosaic”, “Burla Khatun”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Etude”, “Romance”, “Miracle”, “My palette”, “Prisoner of the Captive”, “Frozen love”, “Cleomasino”, “Eternal story of love”, “Sultan of seas” etc. In 2002, she became a subject of documentary film. And rewarded “the Best of the Best” award .
