Lianna Tevosyan (Layana), was born on November 12, 1985 in Yerevan. Layana went to the school N 182 after Vorosholov and parallel to the school she studied in the Music School adjacent to Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas. Layana inherited her grace of music from her father. And being a daughter of an Armenian family, she was inspired by national and ashough music, which sounded in their ho...me.She started her musical way at the age of 12, when she performed a song by Celine Dion for the first time. From the age of 13, she studied in ashough school by Jivani. In 2003 she entered the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas, department of National music. In half a year, changing the department, she continued her studying in department of Jazz Pop, in the class of Raisa Mkrtchyan. The same year “Goharapayl” group was created, where Layana presented as soloist from the first day of its foundation. And in 2004 began the group’s tours. ( Lebanon, Cyprus, Istanbul). The same year Layana was invited to the “Kohar” Orchestra and choir again as a soloist. In 2005 began the “Kohar”s tours around the world. 2005 Istanbul – “Lutfi Kirdar”, 2006 Moscow – “The Kremlin”, 2007 USA Los Angeles “Gibson Amphitheatre”, San Francisco “Nob Hill Masonic Center”, Detroit – “Max M Fisher Music Center”, Chicago – “Harris Theatre”, Boston – “Colonial Theatre”, New York – “Carnegie Hall “, Canada, Toronto - “Toronto Centre for the Arts”, Montreal – “Place Des Arts”, 2008 Germany – Hamburg 2009 Syria Aleppo “Opera Theatre”, Damascus - “Citadel amphitheatre”, 2010 Lebanon – “Zouk Mikael Amphitheatre”, Along with all this, Layana began her individual activities cooperating with the produser David Harutunyan and manger Roland Poghosyan.
